Last Saturday, our Family Builder Community had this Marriage Vow Renewal as a closing of big topic "MAKE MARRIAGE GREAT AGAIN"
I'm the PIC so it's my responsibility o prepare it the best I could.
I already visualised what will happen there and anticipated many things.
I have been praying and fasting for this event so that everything is going smoothly according to the plan, no drama and it could be perfect event for couple to remember.
However,
On the day itself, it's raining heavily in the morning.
I was very anxious if some couples canceled it last minutes especially those with very young children, because it's really inconvenient to bring them in the unfriendly weather but God provides, the rain stopped half an hour before the scheduled mass and all of them were able to come on time.
Even there's a couple who's husband needed to work today, he took his lunch time off to be with his wife. I was so touched by this couple.
Secondly, since it's first time I'm preparing for this ceremony, I prepared it thoroughly however, there's an important thing that slipped into my mind.
I didn't print the reading and gospel for Father and lector with the assumption that the church should have the bible.
Alas, they didn't have it.
I was panicking, I went to Parish office for help to print it from power point slide that I have prepared but the person in charge was off that day.
I had no other option than writing it in the piece of paper.
God provide, Father messaged one of our member that he's coming late.
Thanks God, so I had more time to write down. Imagine if the mass started on time.
It's really blessing in disguise.
Thirdly, when Father has arrived, He messaged us again that the mass will start in 2 minutes.
Just the father messaged us, two sheeps went out to collect the lunch box.
I was in another panic attack again. Anxiously, I called those sheeps but no avail.
However, Father has been gracious and patience enough to wait for those sheeps to come back.
Voila, they arrived within minutes and we could start our mass.
Last but not least, I have saved mp3 song for marching in. I didn't know why, it didn't work.
I was panicking because it's the first song we will use.
Fortunately, I saved 2 songs, one is meant for ring exchange and it's instrumental song.
I had no other option than using this second song.
However, God provides again.
He sent two beautiful angels from Surabaya who spontaneously helped us by playing beautiful pieces during the ring exchange and communion.
In the end, even though it didn't turn out as I have planned, God made it perfect in His own way.
Watching how the couples renewed the commitment again brought me joy and happiness.
Thank you God and all back to His Glory.
