The journey to Promised Land

This is the reflection of my hubby's journey in his career from 4 years ago, on how God's vision was revealed.

End of the year 2016, his mentor cum direct supervisor has been retrenched, he was very devastated and full of anger and anxiety that he would be the next one to be in the chopping board. However by God's grace he managed to resolve, forgive and love the higher level management and blessings came. He got a pay rise within a month after his supervisor was retrenched.

His order came like a river and he was in the peak of his career when suddenly another company came and made a better offer.

He was in the dilemma, it's because he's already in the comfortable position and life and have achieved everything from the zero ground. After discernment and praying, he received the vision from God that God asked him to climb the higher mountain but he needed to go down from this current mountain.

I affirmed him with the wisdom that I received that he needed to let go all the achievements so that God can work through him much more than we could imagine. I also told him that the road in front won't be easy like Israelite when they decided to depart from Egypt and faced the desert. As long as we stayed with God, He will guide and open the way for us.

After that, he decided to move on and follow God's prompts.

Indeed, the vision came true. It's not an easy journey for him. The boss who hired him resigned after 6 weeks and his colleague also asked to leave and the team was in the brink of disbanded.

Anger and anxiety sprouted again, he wanted to return back to the old company and prepared to find the new job. However, when I prayed, the answer is to stay there and God will guide and open the path one step at a time.

On Maundy Thursday, the first impossible order came and saved him from being chopped.

After wards, the blessing poured to him in terms of sales order. In this new company, he really felt that he's in the desert. And only by God's grace and providence, he survived each day.

Until mid of 2019, another company approached him and asked him to join them. Here comes another discernment. After praying and discernment, I was prompted that the new company may like the promised land that God will provide milk and honey as long as we stay under God's wings and never let Him go.

He decided to move again to the new company until now and God's promises came true.

He never really worked hard to find the customer for the orders, God provided every day/month.
